high new O.o

WELCOME TO AUGUST! :D

been a little lazy this few days.. and with classes up my ass.. pffft.. classes monday to friday.. all in the morning.. gahhh.. sien!.. well up next is the RX-93-ν2 Hi-ν Gundam piloted than NO other than the 1st Gundam pilot Amuro Ray from the Universal Century Era.. this story takes place after the original series.. a movie is made called Char's Counterattack..

In that movie the Gundam which Amuro piloted is the Nu Gundam, the Hi-Nu however takes place in the same storyline but in another parallel universe called Mobile Suit Gundam: Beltorchika's Children

Young Amuro Ray in the original series..
This is the original lineart for the Hi-Nu Gundam.. but the final design for the MG is fairly different.. especially the legs and chest and the colour scheme itself..
I like the Hi-NU, i've seen in at dalong.net and i like the design very much.. sort of resembles Strike Freedom.. but one thing that got in the way of me acquiring this kit was the price.. almost a year plus the price for this kit which i can find was around 250-290.. so when i saw it at 230, it was an instant grab for me.. then few weeks later i saw some guy selling for 210.. ZZZzzzZZzzz... well thats life i guess.. For that price u get more than what u think!

Its a fairly large box.. same six with the Strike Freedom FBM box, in side the runners and also included a stand!.. i like kits which comes with stands.. lol.. not only that u see the box art on the right which has that funnel and between it has that electric effect? yes that electric effect is also included.. some plastic rods also also included to hold the funnels on the stand to replicate the pose on the box art.. like the FBM i didnt bother.. lol
Didnt take me long to complete it.. but i was very amazed by the kit.. its quite old.. made in 2005, this kit is quite awesome!.. its stable and sturdy, no loose joints on the ankle and waist unlike newer kits. and its HUGE!!.. well for a UC kit i think thats normal.. haha..
The Hi-NU in complete form.. comes with 6 detacheable funnels at the back, one beam rifle, one bazooka, one huge ass shield and 3 beam sabers, one in the right forearm, and 2 inside the wing binders.. :D
Some poses

Unlike other Gundams, the beam sabers in this kit doenst come in Red.. but this time in blue.. LOL.. overall i rate this kit a 8/10...

Likes... i like that is huge, has lots of gimmicks like the funnels, i like the design very much.. the frame is solid and stable, hard joints and NO BALL JOINTS!.. i even like that they fuel pod at the back connecting to the body is plated gold.. haha..

Dislikes.. well not much except the color scheme is kinda.. mehhh... i mean it wont kill to have a little red or yellow but o well.. another thing is the UC elbows.. i dono why.. i mean only in UC the elbows are pointing to the side of the kit instead of lets say.. LIKE HUMANS.. lol.. and the biggest problem i find in this kit.. the poseability.. i mean.. its huge and menacing, but i raelly have a hard time trying to pose this kit.. it seems its juz cool to let it stand there.. ==

soo yeah.. thats all i have to say abt this... up next is the BIG BOY!..

Aile means Wings

So in June, i decided go spend some money.. and got myself 3 gundams.. and the 1st one was the GAT-X105+AQM/E-X01 Aile Strike Gundam .. the kit is pretty old.. back when SEED series was still airing back in 2002, the kit is released in 2003.

The Strike is one of the main of the five mobile suits Gundam from Gundam SEED series.. piloted by non other than Kira Yamato the protagonist of the series..
The reason why i bought this Gundam was cuz of the recent release of the RG Aile Strike Gundam. That really gave me the urge to get this MG kit, then there is the need to complete the SEED universe MG kits, and this kit comes with launch base stand.. :D
Here's the box of the kit. the oh so famous pose.. all gundams from seed tend to do this pose.. god knows why.. lolol...

See that blue thing on the right.. its a kind of poster thingy.. all the older MGs comes with it like the MG Wing Zero Custom, and a few more..
Strike without its Aile Striker pack.. tried the famous pose that it did in episode one and on the PG box.. this is as close i can get it to.. LOL
This is the fully assembled kit in action.. tried to follow the pose on the boxart.. and hey i got it!!! weeeeee...
"Kira Yamato, Srike, IKIMAS!!"
BEAM SABER!
"ATHRUNNN!!~~~~"
I bought this Gundam together with the MG Hi-Nu gundam at the Litt Takk warehouse sales in June, on the same day i collected my MG 00 Raiser which i've pre-ordered.. took me 4 days to assemble this kit. This kit is old so its rather simple to build. All around nice kit. Only complains i have on this kit issss... uhh lets see...

The ball jointed pelvis, means that over time, the ball joint will get loose due to the friction and thus the legs becoming loose. Bodoh BETOL..

Then there is the hands, there is no pegs to lock the rifle into place, so if the kit is being shaken by a bit, the rifle falls off.. LAME!!!!

Overall, this kit i give it an 8/10, i love the design, really makes me wanna get the RX-78-2 kit even more.. been hunting for it for a while.. sooner or later i'll get my hands on it.. weeee

Quanta

Next up is the MG 00 Qan[T]. Released back in November 2010.. This Gundam is featured in the movie Gundam 00 : A Wakening of the Trailblazer. Honestly.. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THAT EVEN MEANS!.. Japanese ppl like to jumble up some English words and make it cool.. o well.. on an unrelated note.. MOVIE SUCKED!.. LOL.. the promo poster below..
Those Setsuna fans would know that this is his new Gundam in the movie. After losing one of the GN Drive to Ribbons in the end of the series and Exia's Drive was also damaged, the Qan[T] or Quanta got its new GN Drives fresh from Jupiter. For more info on the Quanta read here: http://gundam.wikia.com/wiki/GNT-0000_00_Qan(T)

Here's the design of the Quanta.. The front and back.. The Quanta is also equipped with two GN Drives. One on the back, and one in the shield mounted on the shoulder.. Nice looking design actually. Looks like a gladiator. Too bad this lineart doesnt show the sword but no worries i'll show it to u..
So this is the MG kit.. fairly plain art design lol..
Wat i really love was the GN Sword.. so it was the first think i assembled.. weeeeeeee.. loooky looooook.. the GN sword combined with the GN BITS.. becomes the A BIG FUKKEN SWORD!.. LOL..
Here's the completed kit.. unlike Exia which is more rounded, the Quanta is more edgy.
Comparison between Exia(left) and Quanta(right)
Front shot of the Quanta.. i really like the sword la.aaa.a.a.. that one peice green blade.. looks like a broadsword.. weeeeeee
Some posing shots..
The shield can be turned to merge with at the back to go into Trans Am BURST mode.. lolz
Wats nice about the blade? it can turn into a gun!.. wahhaha
And when combined with the GN bits.. it becomes a HUGE ASS BUSTER CANNON! weeeee
Overall this kit is not tat bad.. only problems i have is with the ankles, and the FUKKEN WEIGHT OF THAT SHIELD! Left it overnight, next morning it was standing there as if it dodged a bullet like in the Matrix.. LOL.. the sword doesnt really grip into the peg so it comes off sometimes.. zzz

the combined GN BUSTER Weapon is fukken heavy.. so need the small stand support it.. the ankles is really weak.. FUKKEN WEAK.. zzzz like the Exia.. can stand for nuts.. so no choice but to use the action base.. pfffft...

ok the worst part of the kit is the GN SHIELD.. to connect the GN Bits onto the shield, the small green blades at the sheild, which are detachable are connected to clips.. its so fragile, i tried removing the bits TWICE and BOTH SIDES BROKE!.. FUKKEN HELL!.. lucky it still sticks even the clip is broken.. sigh..

but i love the design though.. i give this kit a 7/10, i like the colours, the weapon and the gimmicks.. articulation isnt so bad.. not much complain.. i dont remember.. its half a year plus since i got the kit..lol

so Bandai released the OO Raiser.. i'll show tat up soon.. LOL already bought and ASSEMBLED!
